MGWX – Mirror and Glassworks are a hard working, successful Limerick company. They were very eager to create a successful website design to reach out to appeal to a wider tech-savvy customer base. We were contacted by managing director – David Mulligan and consulted with him and his team at their location in Annacotty Business Park, Limerick, to assess their needs going forward and to understand their target market.
After our meeting we created our design brief which was to create a website that accurately portrays MGWX’s ambitions and quality of work. The new website needed to be extremely easy to navigate for an end user and direct them along their user path by creating key call to actions and messaging. It was also very important for the website to be easily updated and maintained inhouse by the team at MGWX.
Creating the successful website design
One of the key features of the website was the bespoke splashback selector. Having met with MGWX we realised that one of their unique selling points was their ability to create splashbacks in a wide array of colours and sizes to suit any kitchen or home environment. We discussed how best to approach getting this across on the new site and agreed that allowing an end user to select different colours and combinations will ensure that the message is put across. Any colour is a achievable with MGWX.
An important aspect of MGWX’s business is their product range. This was something that was being lost in their previous website and was giving potential customers the wrong impression as to what MGWX could provide. The company provides products and services in the areas of: Teak Conversion & PVC upgrades, Customised Splashbacks, Shower Enclosures and Mirrors & Glazing. The new website allows users to quickly find their required service and find out more about what MGWX can offer.
